How heart walls affect your love life
Been single or in short term relationships for longer than you’d like to admit?
You can still remember the moment your heart got crushed like it was yesterday?
Everytime you find someone great its over before the cows come home
So what is a Heart Wall and how does it affect you?
To explain the heart-wall, first we need to touch on the importance of your heart of your body.
There has been many advances in science over recent years that say the heart is in fact a second brain, one that is far more powerful that your physical brain. So. let’s just say the heart is the power centre of your body.
If your heart is fully activated and heart-wall free then you are able to go through life giving and receiving love freely.
You will be more open to being vulnerable, taking risks and won’t hesitate when presented with a new opportunity which makes your heart flutter with excitement.
On the other hand, when you have a heart-wall you are closed off from love.
Let’s say you’ve met someone recently and your heart skips a beat when you think of him. This guy is dreamy to look at, has a great career, can cook and has his own hobbies. All in all he someone your friends and family would love. In fact, you have already told them how great he is!
Things are going great, and he starts to open up to you to let you in. That is when things change. You suddenly stop smiling when he texts, you start screening his calls and now you can’t see him on a weeknight because you have to wash your hair.
You tell your friends that he is moving way to fast and he does ‘blah blah blah’ which is a complete deal breaker for you. He keeps trying to get through your walls, but he never quite does. After trying to get through over and over he either gives up or you do.
It’s not uncommon for people with heart-walls to leave someone for the fear that they will be left. This is a classic sign of self-sabotage.
So how do you stop the self sabotage?
